400 IIRC from the last guy, but he got it tossed after showing pics of the less than visible no tresspassing signs. Assuming you were caught in the chain linked off vernal pool area vs down in the tunnels proper?

Were you alone? What was the interaction like? Did you act like you didn't know you were not supposed to be there? How did they stop you? Just curious

Yeah, it was getting late and the group I was following decided to pass the eucalyptus trees and BAM! From nowhere appeared the Game and fish officer...Dang! He told all of us to park our bikes to the side. Asked for DL# and the ones who didn't, called it in the radio to verify info....long process bcuz there was 8 of us 
Then he took the Model/make of our bikes to prob enter it in a database. After that, informed us that he wasn't going to confiscate our bikes (thank God).
He told us all the tunnels were off limits too...hmmm, really 
I guess there is no way to fight it....dang, that's going to set back my purchase of my Niner...whoo hoo!
During this, 4 bikers rode passed the supposedly "illegal" side too (pass the eucalyptus trees) but didn't say anything.....hmmmmm, that could be my argument in court....what do you think
Ride on my sisters and brothers :hello:
:bang:

i was speaking with some of the people from the neighborhood at one of the entrances and to say they aren't very pleased with the way the lpcpcac and politicians have handled this matter is an understatement. they were obviously going there anyway.

met a jogger who runs with his dog through tunnels and got tagged at the cdf&g area. he showed up at court and got his ticket substantially reduced. a couple of other people ticketed left with a warning and did not have to pay, unless they were caught there again. perhaps the courts are not too happy with this waste of their time and taxpayer money either.

thank you for the detailed report, and please keep us informed as to how this plays out for you.

two sundays ago at PQ, a group of bikers informed us that a ranger gave them a warning (by Intuit area). the next time that they get caught, bikes will be confiscated plus a ticket...

i thought they don't work during weekends?

i am surprised they were actually walking the tunnels in that northern section where the neighbors like to take walks. especially as i don't think that this area is part of the cdf&g parcel (like the fenced area by the euc trees). i don't know if much, if any, of the tunnels proper is on cdf&g parcels, so they wouldn't have much authority there. so who else is in the game now?

interesting as the current rmp that is up for approval opens t1 and t4, which is right there. why give tickets for an area with plans to be opened?
