"Dear Pete,
You and thousands of other Americans took part in the President's American Great Outdoors Initiative and VOTED for IDEAS about your public lands. The President promised he would take the Top Voted Ideas and act on them. Perhaps the President did not expect people who enjoy Motorized and Mountain Bike recreation to speak up, but there is no doubt he has totally ignored us.

Half of the Top 40 Ideas are about wanting More Motorized and Mountain Bike Trails, as well as other Multiple Use Ideas. Your votes made me the Top Innovator Nationwide by a huge margin of almost two to one.

The President's America Great Outdoors 50 State Report did not include one single Motorized trail, Mountain Bike trail or Multiple Use Project even though a large part of the public VOTED for them.

At Save The Trails we had a feeling The President's America Great Outdoors Initiative was intended to justify more restrictions and more closures.

We made sure the public was engaged and thousands of you VOTED for multiple use trails which has allowed us to document the need for more motorized and mechanized trails. We need thousands of you to take action now to hold their feet to the fire and demand what we VOTED for.

Each person reading this needs to Take Two Minutes to tell agency staff we will not be ignored.
The President told us he wanted to hear from the public about recreation on public lands and would do what we asked.
Half of the Top Forty IDEAS in the America Great Outdoors program as VOTED by the public were for More motorized trails
More mountain bike trails
More multiple use projects
The public VOTED me the Top Innovator Nationwide with my IDEAS about more motorized and mechanized trails.
Yet there was NOT ONE of those projects in the American Great Outdoors 50 State Report.

Let me put that another way. Even though thousands of people VOTED for More Motorized and Mountain Bike Trails they are not giving us a single one nationwide. Instead the AGO is supporting more non motorized trail projects and more restrictions on your public lands.

Unless you speak up you are allowing them to lock up your public lands even after the public clearly told the President's AGO team to increase motorized and mountain bike access.
You, your family and your friends who enjoy motorized and mountain bike recreation voices have been totally, completely and utterly ignored.
I just had a meeting in Washington DC with top AGO officials and was told they would consider motorized and mechanized projects in 2014 if the public asked them to. We already asked them to and they ignored us.

I hope this is making your blood boil and that you Take Two Minutes to do something about it by clicking the box below. Please be sure to click the Send to a Friend link on the next page so they can send a letter too.

These are your public lands and you need to make sure they know it. Rural Economies depend on the tourism from Motorized and Mountain Bike Recreation. A large portion of the public enjoy Motorized and Mountain Bike Recreation. We Will Not Be Ignored!!! Click the Box Below to Send Your Two Minute Letter NOW
