My wife and I spent July 4th up in Pismo with family. Her cousin rides and we had originally planned on doing some super secret downhill trails, but plans changed before we left so I brought my trail bike. We spent a good part of the 4th exploring MDO checking out some of the new trails that were recently opened. The trails were a little silty, but not bad considering the amount of horse traffic out there.

It was beautiful out there. 75 degrees, sunny with a nice breeze. No pics - we were having too much fun to stop, but here's a couple rough edits coming off Hazard Peak.

I loved riding at MdO! But..... There are some real cool trails near SLO campus.

Yeah, I really wanted to check them out and pretty much anything off of the West Cuesta Grade, but that's going to have to wait until fall when I have time to get up there again. I'm going to bring all three bikes on the next trip.
