And what can happen when the land managers and local MTB coalition live in harmony. Hopefully in short time I will have Tiddly Winks for you as well because the trails are amazing right now thanks to some May rain and snow. This trail is called Whoops and it is a local staple to be enjoyed with beer.
Edit: 720p works, I suggest it

My wife and I were there last Wednesday and Thursday looks like you were too. We rode tiddlywinks and COD on Thursday can't wait to go back. We also rode the Mackenzie River Trail and we rode the Alpine Trail in Oak Ridge. I highly recommend all of these trails.

Oregon is my favorite place to ride (haven't made it to BC yet though) and we're heading back in August for 10 days...2 in Oakridge, 3 on the North Umpqua and 5 days in Bend. We'll have to check out Whoops and Tiddleywinks while we're in town. We've also don etch McKenzie River Trail and Alpine Trail in the past. Love the top half of MRT but the lower half is the same thing over and over, gets old to me. Alpine Trail is all-time and even better if you link it to Tire Mountain (my favorite trail EVER) and into Clover.

As Warren Miller says..."If you don't go to Oregon this year, you'll just be a year older when you do". It's a long haul, about 14 hours but SOOOOO worth it. It will be painful to come back to San Diego trails.

Favorite trail ever? Hot diggity! We're going to Oregon this summer and I'm adding Tire Mountain and Cloverpatch to my list. Anyone know if there are connectors all the way to the Hills Creek Reservoir rec area / Packard Creek campground?

So far, the only sure thing we've planned is Oakridge (and a detour to Downieville on the drive up). Still on the fence about which other areas to visit, but Hood River, Black Mountain and of course Bend are all on the 'consideration' list. Vids like Dingus Kong's make the draw to Bend more compelling though; that's for sure.
