Looks like fun.

I always mix it up on Gatos. One time I'll look out for and ride all the little features and the next, just ride as fast as possible ignoring them. Last time I rode I was looking out for the skinny with the kink in it and didn't see it. Thought I may have missed it but my buddy said the same.

Was it there this past weekend?

Yep! It always is tricky to see since it's on the inside of a righthander. There is a log roll just across from it and a small jump right after it.

Belated Happy Birthday, Harley. And thanks for the videos.
Them are my favorite trails in SD county.
I'm going up there next Sunday, to ride and have a brew at the Pine House after, and a burger too.....

Happy Trails to all!

I do the same - I'm less likely to try the log-rides etc. if I'm riding solo. I was up there Sunday afternoon, and when I got to that first log roller on the right-hand curver (right where the cut-over trail from Chico joins Gatos) there were 3 or 4 riders hanging out looking like they wanted to try it, so of course I had to show them how it was done!

But yes, the skinny with the kink was there Sunday afternoon. I did a nice 15-mile solo out there - gawd I love that place. There were 5 or 6 horse trailers parked at Wooded Hill lot, but didn't see any of them out on the trail. Maybe they were finishing their rides soon after I got there around noon.

Lots of hikers and bikers on the trails too. It was a great day to get up in the mountains away from the warmer temps in town.
