I had a great time seen good old friends and meeting new ones. We rode about 17 miles and 2500 ft of climbing. The heat got to some of us but still was fun I hope.
Here are most of the pictures I got.

I like that shot too, Dan was schooling us how to ride a bike. I had to jump out of his way when he did that 360 after the shot ;)

Jose, was Marbles the switchbacked one from Rock House down to the power line road, or the one from there to the trail along the river? Those were both fun.

The one from the fireroad down is Billy Goat. Marbles is the last trail before we got back to the beers

Marbles was the technical trail we rode back to the cars at the end, maybe was a bit too much to ride after 15 miles but is a fun trail ;)

Thanks Jose(s)! I'm sure I would've loved Marbles in the other direction...my favorites were the fast descent down from Rock House with the tight switchbacks to Billy Goat, and then Billy Goat. Some pretty sweet sections also after the road turned to singletrack along the river towards the steel bridge, but by then I was already pretty tired. Thanks again.

As the plans for this ride started to firm up, I kept thinking, "Please Jose, take them on Marbles!"

You all scored a great ride led by an even greater host. Wish I could have made it, but parental duty called.

What is this "Marbles" of which you speak? Guess I need another South Bay tour.

Great Ride! All new for me. Think I was seeing stars on marbles. Was whipped, but in a good way!
Thanks everyone. That was super fun!
And thanks for all the photos - proof of the experience!
