That looks insane! I hope everyone is careful as it also looks like a place for really stupid people to act a fool.

I was already out of the lot when that must have happened. Somebody said there were something like 400 riders there today.

The riders showed a lot of restraint. There could have been a bad reaction, but thankfully there wasn't. MTB'rs:1; Motorist: 0.

I am 90% certain the green shirt he was wearing was the same shirts the other staff (gift store, visitors center) were wearing. If the licence plate could be enhanced and identified, just think how nice the meeting on Wednesday would be.

"Here is one of your staff driving at unsafe speeds in a crowd, nearly mowing down riders, and acting so uncouth." And we are the hooligans?

The video doesn't lie. People were moving. Just not fast enough for him. Wonder how well he handles 5:00 pm rush hour?

Well that's comforting, I heard about the rouge driver getting chased down by Will White, didn't know that the rogue driver was bearing down on the group I was in....

Maybe I should have phrased it differently. The company was good. The 'trail' stunk.

That's me making the clumsy attempt at the fake rock(how much did that cost) about :37 and that is my falling 1984 Stumpjumper. The same bike graced East Elliot during the height of the Cold War with nary a sign of the USMC, well Navy actually at that time. From this video you really can not tell how close and fast this idiots approach was to the freekin BABY CHARIOT! Unless you look for it in the video it really is not noticable, but that was the drama. You can hear the dad yelling in almost panic at the driver who then sped up and around narrowly missing the child. Then giving the bird. Nobody was attempting to obstruct him as warning of his approach was given with folks moving. This should be shown to the rangers.

If that guys' ID is established to a reasonable extent, doesn't threatening a bicyclist, well, a child in a bike trailer, kind of seem like CRIMINAL behavior?

Since the rangers are so quick to enforce the 'law' out there, will they be quick to act upon this volunteers' seriously violent threat towards a child? Or will they side with their volunteer, maybe alleging that 'the child was asking for it'!

It should be interesting to find out. Their actions, or lack of action, could be quite telling.

FYI, the driver came from the Authorized vehicles only road by the visitor center, not the parking lot where were were. so Yes, please report the person in the meeting. there were news crews at the bottom, maybe they have footage?
