Baby duty and family time today. My bike needs some breakdown level TLC anyways.

Stole a quick ride yesterday before work. Met up with English Mark and Eminem and ran into a few good company. Route summary: Went up the volcano, down the quarry, up Carwash, down the fire road, up the ridge to the pad down the fireroad, up Porn Alley, down the fire road by banana farm, up berms and down the fire road to Cannon Road and back to the car. All told, we only probably covered 6 XC miles but sweated my spandex liners and halo head band good. Mark showed us his brand new pads and stated that he needed to wear knee pads on XC rides when he rides with us. He was correct in his prophecies.

We enjoyed running into your group yesterday. Dang, Mark had a rough day! The crash I witnessed isn't even in the video. Extra credit to him for getting back up and rolling that rock again right away...only to crash exiting the wall. Most people wait until they get up unhurt to start laughing, but I was impressed by his attitude -- he was laughing while still in mid-air! ....Mad Dogs & Englishmen?

It was laugh or cry at that point  The good news is that the new white shorts cleaned up ok, so nobody needs to know that i fell off.
