I HAVE AN AWESOME WIFE... She tolerates my punkass dickface self and my obsessive biking half-life and on top of that, she completely surprised me with this..

Been meaning to ride this organic bike but I fell very ill Friday. Still discharging green goop and lung particles this morning, I decided, screw it, let's shred. I managed to climb the bitchy grades at Simpson Park but crap, I must have taken record number of breaks along the haul. Spitting and coughing even some lingering chills. Whatever.. the goal is to reap the rewards going the other way...DOWN!

Hemet today, tomorrow Idyllwild. Who's feeling very ill and bedridden tomorrow?

Aw, dawg. I'm starting a new professional chapter tomorrow and will be locked down on weekdays. Can't wait to see your new toy too.

Still undecided where to ride today. DH or XC? Bah, carbine is too fun not to throw a leg over right now.. hmmm....

I need to renew my Vimeo acct so I can load unlimited HD vids and I really need a chest mounted cam. So fun here... It'd be scary on a weekend with uphill traffic though.

Very nice. The Carbine is at the top of my probably-never-to-be-realized wish list. Soooo...what new bike are you buying for her?

BTW, that JRA video looks great. We have so few cloudy days in southern California, you can forget how dramatic a cumulus filled sky can be, and how it makes the landscape colors so saturated.

...or maybe not, and my senses are just heightened by riding withdrawal.
