Luckily I was wearing a t-shirt with a wolf howling at the moon on it. It probably saved my life.

No shit. Almost as sympathetic as "WTF! This isn't comedy hour".

For future reference for the cameraman (based on too much personal experience) it's not that hard to walk two bikes and carry his pack while the injured person walks. In the sad event of rescue needed, they will probably help you get the person's bike out (...short of taking it on a 'copter).

To be honest tho, I do like the "try to land smoother" quip.

That was my brother. He was joking about not carrying me out.

Thanks for posting we've all been there. The + is you are wearing gear, that along with the wolf T makes you invincible!

You both have a wicked sense of humor. Biggest LOL of the day!

I'm fine. Just got one of those 2 day headaches, some road rash, and a lot of bruises.
I was about to swear of biking forever until I watched that video. Now Aaliyah has convinced me to dust myself off and try again try again! I just wish she would do the same. Too soon?

Short answer: I suck
Long Answer: I wanted to go as high and far as possible so I preloaded as hard as I could. I was also aiming for the far right side of the landing because it falls away faster so I can land further down. This combination caused me to take off super stiff on the bike already leaning to the right. Plus I suck.
