The title says it all, Hero Dirt. I wish we could have done that descent 2 or 3 times. Traction Satisfaction. Great ride with friends and wife, thanks!

There is plenty of single track at Daley, it just hurts to get to. Bobcat and Crest are my favs.

That trail used to be fire road. Over a three year span the Rangers and SDMBA have turned it into what it is now. There is plenty more fire road to keep this sort of thing alive for quite a while.

I'll let you in on a little secret, you can start at Cougar Pass and hit Crest first; on your way back to the car you'd do Bobcat plus another 1.5 mls of downhill back to the car. I must warn you that you'd be going over Cardiac towards the end of the ride but Bobcat plus the extra stuff is worth it

Nice vid. That's the exact route I always take out there.

As for the little downhill that starts at 1:25 on the tape, I didn't know anyone else rode that section. I have NEVER seen anyone on that stretch in the years I've ridden there, and I don't really see tire tracks either. BTW, that overhead electrical line or whatever it is near the bottom seems to be sagging lower and lower. Gonna take someone's head off pretty soon.

No, no one ever rides that because it is not on the map.

Paul, don't let Belizean fool you. That is indeed a good route he describes. But it will still hurt.
