I've been looking into exercising that will directly translate to being a stronger rider. I find that would be more goal orienting than just running or doing another type of exercise trying to stay in "shape."

I use to go to the gym all the time, but it just kind of became a pain. I like the idea of training to make something I really enjoy more enjoyable.

Have you looked into Bike James's workouts?

If not, check out his kettlebell and other workouts specifically for mtn biking!

Thanks, I will check this out.

A couple months ago, I actually bought an adjustable bench and some dumbells that you load plates on. Told myself that Id start using them, but when I actually had free time to work out, I decided that I wanted to ride my bike for my work out instead.
