Had a stupid crash at Los Gatos on Saturday... this kinda hurts. Waiting to hear back from the doc about x-rays.

Kinda thinking I did this: http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/98460-overview

Could be a Bennetts or Renaldos fracture ! I bent my thumb back and shattered the bone at the base of my thumb in my hand ?
I needed surgery and pins , hopefully it's just a sprain or fracture .
Good luck

Just heard back from the Doc... nothing broken in the x-ray.

I'm not convinced I didn't tear something though. The Doc seemed super clueless, just wiggled my thumb a bit and said she didn't think it was broken. In that link I posted it shows a way you can manipulate the thumb to tell if that ligament is torn, and when I do that myself the injured thumb moves in whacky ways my other normal thumb doesn't get close to.
