Saturday at Taliban hill I bailed on one of the last jumps at the bottom of the hill. I had help getting back to the car and back home. I went to urgent care and the "doctor" took X-rays and told me I had a sprained ankle, "nothing is broken". He gave me a note for work that said I could go back on Monday with some standing and walking with crutches. Thank God I whent to my primary care Doctor on Tuesday to get checked out to go back to work. By this time it was badly bruised and swollen. He refered me to get a CT scan. Low and behold my heel bone looks like a dinosaur egg, all cracked but still in the same shape. 'parently the inside of your heel is soft and the outside is like a hard shell. Well I will be off my feet for at least 8 weeks. I have the CT scan, If I can figure out how to post it I will.

Not awesome! On the bright side, you'll have some time to build up your DT special HT.

Sorry to hear Timmeh! Good thing you got a second opinion. Guess you don't need surgery, so that's a plus. Take care of it and heal up fast.

Ya, I had no idea the heel was so sensitive. it can get crushed, or the joint parts can get bent out of shape and need surgery to repair.

Being injured really sucks but you will heal quickly! And you can rehab in your pool during these hot days!

:hello:
