After my knee surgery on June 13, I finally got off the crutches last weekend. Today I finally got on a bike. This is the bike I got from Tfitz, (Thank you Tom). While riding, I got a good feeling where my recovery is at, and I have at least another 4 months before I can get on my mountain bike. I still have another couple weeks of physical therapy.
The ride felt great, and the bike felt great. More than anything, my body sweating felt the best.

Take it slow.
I 'discovered' MTBs after my first knee surgery in '85.
