I'll be there if I can figure out how to transport my bike. If I'm not there by "wheels rolling" don't wait on me.

Ride it there? Im not sure where in san carlos you live but you can go down navajo and take lake murray blvd north, it dead ends but its an official MTRP entrance right there that is an old paved road. Just take that all the way down and you should pop out at the end of Mesa and can cruise downhill to the park where they meet (I think)

I'm off work much earlier and rather than drive south and back I'm thinking on starting my very slow climb a bit early and then meet you guys on the way up or at the top.
Does anyone has a map link to the parking spot and and general instructions to the climb, oh wait, I'll look it up at mtnbikeBill

Don't start too early Baja or you'll be down and done before we're rolling. Its not a very long ride at all. Otherwise maybe you can join us for lap2?

I like to park just south of Big Rock park. Pedal up the road to the Mesa trailhead. Follow the signs to the Cowles Mountain summit.

Parking map link:

Looking forward to riding/meeting you all.

John

I rode there yesterday, conditions were perfect, traction was exceptional, and Big Rock was a blast. Very, very crowded though, must have been like 30 hikers. There was also a small fire just after the Big Rock trailhead. Have fun!
