For those who visit the dark side!

A fantastic, scenic ride in San Diego county's back country. Ride distances from 24 to 62 miles. Hillclimb challenge too up the East Grade of Palomar. All pre registered riders get free timing. Trophy to the first male and female up the mountain. Ride fee includes short sleeve tech event shirt, well stocked rest stops and finisher medal. Optional lunch at the Henshaw Grill to top off a great day.

Sounds like fun, but I don't think my climbing skills are even close to this. I might have to try on an off day to see how bad the climb is. Anyone ever ride there to know how traffic is? I know a lot of people with cars come out to drive the fun twisties, as well as motorcycles. Is it safe?

We feel the East grade is safer than the South grade and we don't have put riders on Hwy 76 for very long. East grade probably has better sight lines and a little less traffic. We do have bicycle advisory signs posted during the event.

Rich,

Is the shirt the logo for the ride?

Anybody else interested in this ride?

Yes, the shirt logo is on our main web page. Also the same logo for the finishers medal.
