You married guys just have to get more creative.

For instance...

I was once way into Kart racing had a great 250 shifter Kart, then I got married. After seeing me crash at a race one day out went the Kart and all that went with it.

So, I got big into off road RC racing. Ended up with almost as money tied up in that as I had in Karts. Wife (who has been jettisoned) got pissed and "laid down the law" about buying "shit" for my toys...

Long story short I wanted a new radio; she went ballistic.

So being close to Xmas as it was; I got the radio wrapped it up in Xmas wrapping and put it under the tree. I took a label from a present my mom sent me and put it on the radio package.

Along comes Xmas morning and what do you know my mom gave me the radio I wanted....
Worked like a charm...

Dang! I wish I can do that for a new wheelset or a new Fox fork.
