How come you don't want lasik/contacts? I got lasik after years of wearing contacts and I am so glad I did. One of the best investments I have ever made. No more worrying about losing glasses or ordering contacts. And lasik is a whole bunch cheaper now than when I got it a couple years ago.

I don't want any more of me shaved/cut/sliced/diced/lopped off if it won't grow back.

have you considered you might be in the wrong sport.

(smiley, cause you know you want one)

Yeah, never have this problem mtbing, but then again, I don't go very fast -- mainly limited by my skills (lack thereof).

Now that the weather is warmer, my symptoms are better but not completely gone. I'm still gonna look for a good wrap-around and maybe hit up Chris for lenses. It would be a shame for me to die during my first century while descending Scripps Poway.

lol. same here.

allergic to air, features and surgeons.

but to the main topic- i haven't really had many problems with med-large sized glasses for riding. did the same as you once, prescription glasses to sjc. 1st time there and i was tearing the whole way down. larger glass with some curvature (8 base) and you should be alright.

you may want to also consider lens color.

i'm liking an inexpensive pair of anarchy scathes with olive lenses for all-round. didn't care as much for the brown, as suggested in the link.
