I'm posting for my wife who has just started road biking now having grown tired of mnt biking. ( :? )

Anyways, she is looking for other female roadies who are newer and wanting to do Saturday rides as that is really her only day off.

Of, if you know of a good San Diego resource for women's rides on Saturday I'd love to hear about them too.

Thank you!

I have been infiltrating the roadie, world alittle bit, and I have to say there are a lot more opportunitys for women to ride together on the road. I see groups of 5 or 6 women (some are pretty damn fast) regularly. San Diego Bike Club has organized Saturday rides every week. SDBC's rides are broken into guoups by level and are great rides to help some one learn to ride in packs, where wheels overlap, and riding your line is important. There are a lot of recreational groups that ride various days of the week. You could get a ride in everyday with a diffrent group if you wanted. If you can't find a road ride in San Diego County ...you are not looking.
