I start at Palomar Airport Road and El Camino Real.
They started from the high school off San Elijo Road.

rode up there yesterday from the twin oaks side. if you go up twin oaks, most of the climbing is done by the time you get to san elijo road. i think the double peak road itself only climbs like 400', but it's pretty steep near the water tank
