I wish "Vs." still covered this. Now I have to get my fix from VeloNews. CVV is out, but he's a tough guy and I expect to see him in the Tour.

CVV crashes out.

Buddy.. you can come watch it at my house. I have the stationary trainer set up in front of the TV in the Man Cave. (My Garage) The Giro is a crash fest so far this year. And, with no Lance, and no Contador, the other top guys are fighting it out hard. But.. if you haven't seen the course this year, the fireworks are going to happen in the mountains on week three, and there are alot of mountains, the biggest ones are on the last week of racing. Last years winner wouldn't even come back and defend because the course is too hard. I think the Giro is better racing than the Tour.

Maybe we can schedule a road ride to coincide with one of the key mountain stages. We could do a loop starting and ending at your house. I'll bring the post-ride adult beverages.

Did anyone watch today 5/13, Thursday? I was yelling go, go, go, at the TV for the breakaway guys at the finish I said it before, I'll say it again, the Giro is better, pure racing than the tour.

Lloyd(I believe is his name) killed it today. Breaking away and making it stick. He came in all alone which is an incredibly hard thing to do. I was happy to see the second place guy stay away from the peleton even though they were breathing down his neck at the end.

I am lov'n the Giro this year. Mountains start this weekend. Summit finish Sunday. 3300m of climbing, is my math wrong? That's like 11,000ft of climbing? Damn!!!

56 man breakaway today, the whole leader board flip, flopped. Evans, Vino, Baso, all finished 12+ Min's behind after the king Kong of breakaways got away. IMO that's why Evans, won't win the Tour De France he's all heart and no head. Same goes for Vino. How could they let that many guys get away?

Those Aussies are scrappy -- I remember when Robbie McEwen said that if Lance Armstrong didn't shut his mouth he'd "fill it with [his] fist".

The weather and multiple crashes have made this Giro super entertaining. I am stoked to see Vino back, despite all the baggage. He remains one of my favorites, which is not saying much - see Floyd thread.

Anyway, so, is everybody watching both the Giro and the Tour de Cali? I am and it is getting me stoked to ride fast.

I am curious how this turf war will play out as T d C becomes protour, same level as Giro and Tour de France. I think the same sports organization oversees the T d C and T d France.

No, its name is not Lance, but I'm sure he would not mind. Megan told me he fathered another kid with the Texas college student so he's gotta ride...

I heart bike racing.
