I took the kid out for a couple of rides this week. We'd only tried the trailer out once, and it didn't look like she was having a good time. I bought the trailer to ride on the dirt, but other than fireroad, I couldn't imagine taking that thing on trails.

Her mother's been away for a few days, and this has been a lot harder than I thought. The trailer's a good way for me to get some spinning in, and she crashes out, so it's been well worth the purchase of the new road bike.

She was a little weirded out at first, but she got so comfortable, she was climbing back in after we were done.

Could it be that she is bonking her head when you hit a bump? It's hard to tell from the pics.
I had to fashion a little bump guard out of a towel and zip ties for our trailer.
