Mrs. Foo's new roadie

Some of you may have heard that my wife was looking to get into riding for fitness and to what all the hype was

she wanted to try road riding since she's a bit more comfortable w/ that than riding alone on a dirt trail (she'll do that later

) and plus for the short time that she has to get in a ride riding road will yield the biggest return to get her into shape.

So we started to look and found some cool stuff but a bit out of our budget. Soooo off to craigslist I went at her be haste. Typed in our search and up this came; Specialized Ruby Comp. The seller was near us (next city over) and the deal was he bought it for his wife and they rode together once all 20 miles of it. Then they were trying to have kids so she has been ordered to bed rest so he felt it would be a waste to have the bike just sitting in the garage so he thought he should sell it.

We came by took a look and the thing was immaculate, like show room new seriously. Came by and picked it up tonight and worked it so he threw in a Garmin 305 as well!!!!

Anyway, enough jabber here are the pics. She'll be riding and I'll be watching the kids

or if there's any ladies that are willing to ride w/ her noob-ness on the bike trails of Aliso I'm she'd be down for that and maybe on sundays we can have my parents watch our kids while we ride together

she is pretty stoked, but tell me if your wife is like this...

me - babe this bike is the bomb because it's carbon and has this component on it

wife - i really like the color w/ the black and pink

LOL

she's looking for riding gear now that are pink etc LOL

yeah, my wife likes those for the color too...

she has a bianci though, so she's not getting a new roadie. i have been trying to convince her that she needs a nicer mountain bike. that one she has is embarrassing... :shock:
