Just watched this new movie tonite on Sundance channel. Excellent documentary of the Garmin Slipstream no-doping team from formation in 2007 to their invitation and ride in the 2008 Tour, as well as an Olympic berth. Focuses on several riders, including Millar, Backstedt, & Vande Velde, in their career, and emotional, journeys. Guy named Mike Friedman, the Olympian, was a good story. It's an hour-and-a-half, plays again Sunday at 2PM.

I watched that also, I thought it was well done, and helped restore some faith that honest athletes are taking back pro road ridding. I felt let down by guys like, Michael Rasmussen,Floyd Landis, and Tyler Evans, all ex mountain bikers taking on the rodies, and beating them, but.. by cheeting. I wonder... was Lance that good that he could naturally beat all those dopers, or was he just better at hidding it?
The tour is on Cox Ch65 (VS). Tuesday is the first mountain stage.
