I'm signed up for Cat V of the Omnium, at the ass crack of dawn. This should go better than Red Trolley, as long as I make the start time.

So, I lasted 10 minutes this time instead of five. hurray.

Check it:

Some highlights:
Pro/1/2/3 Women with Pain faces on. Sarah Hammer (Individual Pursuit World Champion, 2006, 2007) is on the right.

Sarah Hammer and Kendall Ryan sprint it out. 17 year old Kendall Ryan beat out Hammer at the line.

Crash in Cat 4's. This guy got bumped into the cones near the START/FINISH. He ran over two cones without falling, but the third sent him over the bars onto his face. For added insult, someone ended up running over his head. This is his good side. When he got up, he had a gash under his right eye, and a lot of road rash on his cheek.

SRAM provided neutral support for all races. If you had to get a wheel change, you were given a ZIPP 404 from the wheel pit.

Off the back again. Hurray! Stayed in for over a lap, but came off the back on one of the rollers. Ended up riding the rest of the course with a small group of 3 others, and ended 1 lap down on the field.

Sarah Hammer won the field sprint in the Elite Women race, but there was a breakaway that was 2 minutes up the road that took the top positions. It looked like the breakaway may have included Coryn Rivera, a 16 year old girl who is much faster than you.
