I wouldn’t watch his TdeF podcasts, but love him or hate him, his story makes for interesting reading. Here’s a well-written update:

What a crazy life. Seems like Lance and Landis will for all intents and purposes kill each other in the end.

I'm not really a road racing fan but I was one of this that defended Lance pretty much up to the bitter end. No "smoking gun' dirty test equated to him not being guilty as far as I was concerned. I still don't like how LeMond was a whiny biatch. He was/is just jealous that Lance was stealing his thunder. That being said, I never paid enough attention to the sidelines stuff to realize what a douche Lance was to those around him.

To this day, I agree with him that the penalties levied against him were overly harsh considering the extent of doping going on. To be honest, I just assume it's still going on. As far as the lawsuit, the Postal Service got wayyyyyyy more than their moneys worth out of sponsoring Lance and the entire team. I'd like to know how they are going to show how they were harmed in any way, especially since they weren't the primary sponsor as things fell apart.

Dirt Rag has Rebecca Rusch’s enjoyable column “Rusch Job”, and in the latest she takes a few jabs at Lance while recounting sharing the podium with him at Leadville in 2009. So, I knew he owned Mellow Johnny’s bike shop, but I did not know he also had a well-reviewed coffee shop named the Juan Pelota Cafe. The dude loves a pun, and at least doesn’t mind a joke at his own expense.
