I am still considering it Phong. My wife has me in a running group and the plan is to do 2 hours running Sat (ouch), then I'm going to do trailwork at Calavera. I may be too wiped to do the fondo. Game time decision. If I go, I'll PM you.

you need to get some road miles in, Mikey. Your sweet Look is crying for some love. You can let me borrow it if you aren't riding.

Stormy - Yeah, I've been putting some road miles in since LPQ closed. I'll be back on the dirt soon though.

EMFC - The wife and I had a great time doing the Gran Fondo. We started out in Little Italy/downtown and made our way south through National City, Chula Vista (all the way to the Olympic Training Center) Bonita and Sweetwater. I gotta say South Bay, your neck of the woods, has some really scenic riding. Unfortunately didnt take any pictures.

Really proud of my wife. She's never ridden that long and was pretty beat at the end, but she finished!

I am so pissed that I missed this ride. Did you do the climb up Honey Springs? When I get back I'll take you on some fun stuff down there if your interested, lots of good road riding.
