I've never seen this before but the engineering behind this 4-speed rear cluster is amazing. This bike has the Maguti Cambio Corsa shifter from the 1940s (predating derailleurs). There are two shift levers on the seat stay. One of them moves the chain, and the other one moves the rear axel in the dropouts to change the wheelbase so that the chain is tensioned. What a totally bizarre and beautiful bit of engineering.
