I'm heading to Tour de Fat with Minion and Mighty Mouse this Saturday. I saw david k's experience from last year and am a little curious if I wouldn't have done the same thing. Since I'll spot my DT attire I'll probably cough up the dough to help relations.

Other than the "donation" I'm planning on having a good time with bikes music and beer. Anyone else plan on visiting the dark side in the effort to ride and drink some beer?

Really? Just show up and enjoy the show! If you feel like making a donation, it's entirely voluntary. If you don't just don't. No need to start pre-emptive drama on the interwebs.

I hope you have a great time. I'm looking forward to it. I always have a blast there.

Bikes, Beer, Babes, and Burlesque humor. How can you go wrong with that mix?

I'll be there registering folks for the parade and marshalling. Wearing some fur and a purple tutu, and a white fur cowboy hat. Please stop me and say hi.

And Yes, I will be asking nicely for donations, but if you don't wanna, it's ok too. I promise I won't be mad. Let's all just ride our bikes, drink some beer and soak up some great San Diego sunshine tomorrow!

We have enough battles to fight later...

Drank a couple of decent beers; ran into a few friends; rode several of the novelty bikes; and saw some good live entertainment. And all of it was free, except for the beers. Throw in some beautiful Fall weather, and it was a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon.
