IIRC he was on strava at the time right?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... icide.html

A 37-year-old has become the first cyclist to be convicted of manslaughter after he struck and killed a 71-year-old pedestrian after running a stop sign.
Chris Bucchere was cycling through a busy intersection when he plowed into Sutchi Hui, who was crossing the street with his wife in downtown San Francisco.
His conviction today is the first of its kind for a cyclist in the U.S. He was sentenced to 1,000 hours of community service and three years on probation after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter.

Don't see any mention of strava in the link you posted.

Not sure why one would make an inflammatory/trolling post about strava when their signature contains a link to their own strava account...

No the link didn't mention it, I did because I remembered the story from when it came out...

And just because I use strava doesn't mean I can't point out people acting badly while using it...

At some point there was talk about the family of the victim suing strava, this is around the same time they updated TOS and started displaying the "this is what we are about" link

ScottK,

My bad, I didn't know the backstory.

Was planning to and didn't get to ride yesterday so I was in a disagreeable mood...

Rode this evening and ran into Avidtest at La Costa. That was cool.
