Hey all, coming up on April 20th Me and my fiance will be participating in a century ride to benefit diabetes research. I'm supposed to (and will) raise a minimum of $200 and so far I'm half way too my goal. Here is the a snippet of the "sponsor me" email that gets sent out on my behalf with the donation link at the bottom.

Nearly 26 million Americans are living with diabetes. If current trends continue, one out of three children will face a future with diabetes. This is a startling statistic and your donation will help to change this.

Please help me reach my fundraising goal by supporting me with a donation. Visit my personal Web page to make a donation today!

Together we will Stop Diabetes. Click on the link below to view my Tour de Cure page:

Thanks in advance to all of you.

That's a great ride Aaron! I've done it the past 5 years and its always fun. I have diabetes so, to me, what you're doing is very important! Thanks for riding. Wish I could go this year but its just not possible for me this time..... I'm gonna donate! Good luck

Thanks for the donation! Sorry to hear you can't ride it. I'm looking forward too it. This will be my first century and have been riding a lot to get ready for it.

So it took about 9.5 hours or so with all the rests and getting lost a few times. The course was terribly marked. Our team didnt stay together. It broke up into smaller groups and I stayed with my fiance and rode at her pace to make sure we finished together. Overall good experience... glad its over. Gonna be at least a month til I touch my road bike.

The course markings were horrible at certain spots. I enjoyed it. Met a lot of nice people. Finished the 50 mile route in under three hours.
