I guess I'm in. I don't think I'll be doing the arch this year so I need something substantial to look forward to.

wtf? I thought we are going to do Arch this year? We've been training, doing 11mi ride every weekend.

Nay

1. Rich Julien is not involved.
2. Price went up. ($80 to me - membership, ride cost, and possible shuttle from sean)
3. Although i was told members had priority on signing up, I now see it is members only again.

I may just do the arch ride on my own time. The ride really doesn't need sag stations. You can easily refill water at elfin, hernandez hideaway, and the black mountain ball fields.

On the baggies, you may, but I will be using spds too and wearing my Lopes Lazer helmet so we can match.

In that case, I will wear my bluish gloves.

Anyone for an easy pace road ride on Sunday 3/10/13. Would like to put in 50 ish miles with little to no hills; need some saddle time.

Yes. Where and when? We could do Carlsbad to San Clemente and back, flat as a pancake.

60 miles, not 70 but was a fast ride with Andy pushing the pace. Carlsbad to San Clemente and back. No smooth legged damsel in distress to charm this time, but many favorite moments: 1. Belizean attacking HARD at the base of the last climb; It did not last very long... 2. Learning that bike freaks will most likely clean and tune my bike if the post-ride green beer keeps flowing in the garage; 3. tamale finale!

Too tired to care. You guys put a hurtin on me yesterday. It's been awhile since I've been this sore after a ride.

We need to get Andy to ride with us early so Fred will waste all his energy early on the climb and won't attack so much later. I die a little inside every time I see him take off.

It's hard to believe that you guys are making me regret (just momentarily) selling my road bike. Sounds like you had a delightful suffer-fest.
