This might be the only century ride that has more descent than climbing (3000 feet more).
A good local club puts it on. I belive all the problems at the restaurant have been worked out this year.

It fills up fast, and space is limited.

I've done it the last 2 years, great ride and support. The descent down Banner Grade is amazing and the post ride party always fun. beer tacos and mariachi band with waiting tour buses for you and your bike. Takes all day though and the way back can be uh slow sometimes so make sure you take a beer or two to go as they have bathrooms in the buses.

Well that's just wonderful, hanging out with fat people in spandex all day, then smelling their stinking ass's on the bus all the way back. I'd rather ride a mo-ped.

Ride 100 miles into the desert, drink several frosty beverages mix with cilantro and sour cream shake well, and serve with charred meat. Repeat.

I can't stand roadies, they're a bunch of holier than thou, inconsiderate bunch of whinny bitches.

That being said, a mostly downhill shuttle century that ends with beer, tacos, mariachis and a bus to take you back to your car.....I'm in, baggies and DT jersey and all

Are you serious Scarbery? I've never riden a century, this sounds like a good one. This requires some road miles or a bunch of Daley Ranch, like 25-30 miles.

Do it Fred, my friend Enrique and I just signed up. After you guys kicked my ass last Saturday, I figured putting in a few road miles might be good for me.
