I caught some shit for it but I had to make a move to keep cycling in my life. My elbow is so jacked up that I am unable to ride trails, pre-load a bike, jump, ride chunk, or anything demanding. So while I enjoy therapy and doctor visits, I'm going to be doing a little road riding. She's clean, needs little, and is pretty damn solid/fast. Not a bad buy either...$475.00.

Thanks, Pete. I took it for a spin today.

Brian and I hooked up to ride Mission, Fiesta, PB, leave me with a small climb back to Clmnt. I had a blast. Long story short, I've been missing out.

If only you didn't have to share the road with those pesky cars (because you know they don't like sharing it with you).

I don't mind traffic. I just chug along and avoid potholes/debris.

Wait 'til you get knocked down once or twice.

Ride out here in Borrego. There may just be more bikes than cars.
Looks like you got a great deal on that bike, you will learn to like road riding more than you should, but its a bunch better than not riding at all.

As EMFC says, a mountain biker that does not ride road has no legs, and a road rider that does not ride mountain has no soul. Congratulations on your new bike!
