Any of you use Strava?
They are starting a crazy challenge where you will be climbing
over 105,000 in 45 days.
Its the total climbing of five of the one day classics, three times!
That would be an average of over 2300' each day.
What is so interesting to me is that the average needed is just about
what I do most days. But I've never even strung together a full week
of those rides.

I'm thinnin' I'll give it a go.

Definitely try it. Let us know how it goes. Does the elevation have to come on the road or can you mix it up?

Every time I try to sign up it says the site is down.
I'll try again today.
(I was feeling all smug that I was going to do this and while talking about it a bud of mine noted that he has done that amount of climbing
already this year, on a mountain bike!)

CRAP!!

Strava only is giving me credit for 1700' of climbing on my 2340' ride up the grade.
I'm guessing it is having a hard time tracking me up Montezuma.
Sportstracker doesn't have that problem.

I went back and checked my SportTracker log and it has the same problem....some of the time.
I've been given credit for as little as 1700' of climbing and as much as 2300' of climbing on the same ride. I also have some crazy top speeds (that I know I never obtained!)
OH well, it was a thought, but I'm not going to get to 100k of climbing in 45 days.
