C'mon you roadie haters, accept that all bikes are bikes despite the size of tires of the terrain they roll over. If it's the lycra, then man up and be proud of your package rather than hiding it behind "Fox" baggies.

PSA: I am effing with you guys.

PSA #2: Road bikes make you strong in ways a mountain bike simply cannot.

PSA #3: Girls ride road bikes (in lycra - whoa) way more than mountain bikes and generally are WAY more attractive to encounter than you dirtbags.

There was almost one less roadie last night.

We had night practice at Scripps HS last night. About 9:30 I was driving the 67 toward Ramona on the way home. The fog was dense and as I came around the corner just after Ellie Lane I nearly took out a ass clown on a road bike out in the trafic.

Didn't even see him in the fog until I was maybe 8-10 feet from his rear tire, he was nearly in the middle of the traffic lane. I had to swerve over the double yellow and 4 rows of yellow reflectors into the on-coming traffic lane to miss hitting him from behind.

Note to ass clown; riding your bike in the middle of the hi-way at night in dense fog with a small little red light clipped to your ass may not be such a bright idea.

You're very lucky to not be a part of the front end of my BMW.

You're also lucky there wasn't another car coming the other way. I like would have made the easy choice and taken you out instead of a head on collision with another car.

Even at the 35-40 MPH I was driving it wouldn't have been good for you.

Not many photos or videos taken on road bikes may be a reason.
