Okay, I'm going to let my freak flag fly.

This is turning out to be an incredible Tour de France: Voeckler riding his guts out and hanging on to the lead by a thread with only one mountain stage left; Andy Schleck turning it on today to take second in the GC; Aussie Evans riding until he blows apart; and Contador fading off the back in the absence of his tainted meat. Nice!

Can't wait 'til tomorrow.

Been watching TDF live since stage 1 and I was getting impatient. When is the attack from the Schlecks going to happen? Today was amazing. I hope Andy can still keep up with the big boys for tomorrow's stage.

...and Frank looks like he still has fresh legs after today's ride.

i thought Le Tour is for sale since the topic is posted on Classifieds section.

Heroic efforts by Andy Schleck, Cadel Evans, and Thomas Voeckler today, for sure. That's some of the best riding I've seen in 15 years of watching the TdF. Frank Schleck's ride was smart, but that's about the only nice thing I can say for him.

I have a feeling that tomorrow and Saturday are going to give us some more great racing.

I'm pulling for the Aussie, but I wouldn't cry over Andy winning it either after today's ride (though he was annoying me earlier with his obsessive looking over his shoulder). As for Voeckler, he's impressed me. Gotta throw France a bone on that one.

I remember him showing similar grit back in 2004, but nothing nearly this impressive. It's cliche', but apparently true, that the yellow jersey can transform a rider.

Voeckler must thing he has no chance to win the overall; thought he could have worked with Cadel to get back some time on Schleck today, he even had a teammate with them. Great bike handling on his part yesterday to save his tour. I still like Evans to pull it off.

Voeckler is kicking butt and taking names. In other words, riding in a very unFrench-like manner.

Sorry to you Frogs. I'm Dutch/Danish descent. :)

Voeckler is a bulldog, he won't quit, the other guys may out-ride him but he is going to go down fighting no matter what. Did any one see the wheelie drop he did yesterday when he over cooked the corner on the descent? I think if Andy Schleck can recover from today, he is going to have yellow in Paris. I am not a Contador fan but I have to say I am supprised buy his performance at the Tour, he was waaay better than anyone at the Giro. I put him on my fantasy team thinking I was betting with my head and not my heart. I also have Voeckler, and Hushovt, and Cannans man crush, Cavendish, yet I am in 3438th place. I don't see me making the podium. Tomorrow is Alpe D' Huez 21 switchbacks, should be epic.

Frank Schleck is the only rider out of this year's contenders to have won on Alpe D'Huez. Sitting in today and then pipping Evans at the line might be part of a strategy setting him up for tomorrow. He should have the freshest legs of all of the contenders.

Tomorrow will probably be as good or better than today, with both Schlecks and Cadel Evans battling on one of the classic TdF climbs.

I'd love to see it stay close enough between Andy and Cadel that Saturday's time trial will be meaningful. I'd like to see Evans win it all, but Andy Schleck would certainly be a worthy winner given the "all or nothing" risk he took today.

And on Sunday, I'll be all goo-goo eyed when my man crush wins on the Champs Elysees in green -- great Tour this year.

the Schlecks need to have at least 2 minutes or more advantage over Cadel after tomorrow's stage. If not, it would be Cadel wearing the yellow jersey on Sunday.

I guess Contador is no longer eating the tainted beef.

I really enjoyed that moment and the one that occurred a little bit earlier when the dude (yes, dude) in the bikini got tackled by the gendarme.
