Always an excuse. He does have a cute haircut though . . . .

I think the excuse he needs to use is: Cavendish is too good, right now.

I prefer Tyler to Mark Cavendish. Every time Mark loses a sprint he throws a fit while crossing the line complaining about percieved fouls. A couple of days ago he bitched as he crossed the line about some percieved foul that was completely non-existent on the replay. He was beaten fairly.

This isn't Soccer. You can't roll on the ground holding your knee to draw a yellow card. If you lose, just suck it up and stop the F'n whining.

I guess it is a minor difference... Tyler whines to the press, while Mark whines to the officials. Still I hate F'n soccer becasue of that poor sportsmanship, and Mark hits those same buttons.

I watched the Women's WC final on Sunday. They played like gentlemen.

It's more than a minor difference -- there's a huge difference between complaining about what you perceived to be a foul in an incident you were a part of and accusing a guy of getting pulled over the mountains by a team car when you didn't see anything of the sort.

I was correct to expect a personal attack or some anti-Cavendish slander from you. But you're all wrong -- didn't you see where I said Tyler has a cute haircut?

Is this where I insert the comment that all roadies dream of having their gaper plowed by the peleton?

Here's the entire text you are working from as quoted in the link you provided:
“Cav made a really remarkable comeback after being dropped by the gruppetto for about 70km yesterday, so it’s a little frustrating to have him beat me so closely today,” Farrar told the TV channel at the team bus Sunday.

The rest of the allegations of Cav getting towed were produced by the media. Tyler never said anything at all like what you are attributing to him. Tyler sounds to me like a really frustrated dude that was beaten at the line and then interviewed only a minute later (when that quote was pulled). Where does it say that Cav was getting pulled over the mountains by a team car?

I admit my man-crush on Tyler may be fogging my observations here. But where on earth does Tyler ever say that Cav was towed?

I like his team, he's probably a nice kid, and he's a hell of a sprinter, but he can come off as a bit of a bitch, especially when he loses to Cavendish. He was coy this time, calling Cav's recovery "miraculous," but in context it was clear he was endorsing hearsay that Cav had been pulled over the mountains.

If Robbie McEwen or Tom Steels thought a rival got pulled over a climb, they'd have hooked the guy or thrown a bottle at him at 45 mph, not whined about to the press.

Wow. If that is all the "clear" proof you require to publicly condemn someone, I hope I stay on your good side! :hello:

Give me a break -- do you really think he was commending him on a good ride? Watch all of the interviews and read all of the articles if you need more context.
