We usually do Tuesdays there too--starting at the same time and spot. We usually do 12-14 miles though. Your welcome to join us for all or some.

This is when I usually ride on at least until school gets out for summer. Anyone interested in joining me for a short (8-10 miles?) ride around Calavera on Tuesday the 31st? I usually enter on the west side off tamarack by the culvert and dam. But I also have started by the apartment/condos on the north side of the lake as well as the southwest side where the new high school is being built. I rode yesterday for the first time in 3 weeks on the wider trails and did 7 miles in about an hour, so you can get my pace. I can and have done more in an hour, but I did take it easy yesterday. I have gotten used to riding alone plugged into my iPod, but after seeing all the rattlers around, I need to unplug...and I also need to be pushed a bit harder than Iron Maiden and Metallica can provide me... I would like to work up to longer rides (20-25 miles), especially when I will have time during Summer in about 2 weeks. And though I know many of the trails around there...I still have to explore the south side a bit more..so I would not be opposed to trying and learning new trails... Let me know if anyone is interested and where to meet... |

where you there yesterday? I saw a couple of people riding around...let's see: one drove a red scirocco, another drove a black tacoma...I was in a silver subaru... saw a lot of bikers doing the jumps east of the water tower...not my cup of tea..i prefer to attempt to keep my tires on the ground...I don't recover as well as I used to... |

Sorry, but yeah. I would like to join you guys for as much as I can keep up. I can make it for 12-14 miles. At least that would be not so big of a problem about a month ago. Now? we'll see.... just trying to get my legs back after 3 weeks of doing this thing called "life". |
