I'm down for Spring. I heard they're closing Calavera today at 4 to tag all the rattlesnakes.

Was out there Sunday afternoon and saw a dead 3 footer in the middle of the trail and heard 3 others during the ride. Kinda freaky rounding the corners and hearing them

Spring canyon was a good change up. Whoever did work on the first left turn singletrack to the fireroad ridge did a great job of benching and grade contour on the climb up. It's a way better route than the old one that went to the right.
It was a fun ride.

No typical ride report. I'm not good at it and I'm a brick wall when it comes to dramatic drawn out ride reports. Here's a synopsis: I had fun. Raptorz31 tortured and abused us all, and made the ride rated NC17 right off the bat. Loball was late (how many times you have to go to the john before heading out on rides?). New to DT rides buddy of mine Matt brought the ugliest bike ever conceived that somewhat pedals. Dave (moorhouse777?) thinks raptorz31 is odd (always goes without saying). Good times!

Down Barrels

the last vid is taking some time to upload due. Vimeo must be having a hard time filtering raptorz31's explicit and vulgar language. Will post it later (is there an easier way to embed Vimeo vids?)

I thought we were gonna do PQ this afternoon? No one chimed in yet.
Eff.. I would have died from heat on Fred's 10am ride at Cvera today if I had gone. It's toasty.

It was starting to get warm near the last half hour of the ride...but thats not what hurt. What hurt was Chris and Freds deliberate and downright maniacally diabolical plan to find and force upon me only trails that went up...that hurt....my feelings at first, then my lungs and legs....now that Ive rested some and am sitting down, the pain from my body is no longer masking my hurt feelings...those cruel, insensitive beasts!

Thanks for the ride today guys!

All i remember is fred complaining about my gear selection and pete bitching about not enough climbing. Can't keep up with these guys anymore.
Good ride anyway
