SO.....

Ive been doing a little vodka-assisted waxing-philosophical super full of-dashes semi-buzzed thinking about the trails and my bad habits...................

When you descend,,,,, left or right foot forward? I am realizing my un-even development is largely attributed to this, reason being that when I switch it feels awkward, not as bad as switch-foot surfing but hey......anyhooo,,,,, try it sometime, it's wierd.

I've read that you're supposed to have ur dominant side foot first, so you can have a strong pedal strike when you need it. But I feel more comfortable with my weak foot forward, that being the left.

That makes natural sense, and we all do it including me, but im thinking of focusing on the switch stance more often because the weak leg for me seems like it needs to catch-up. Its alot harder to climb water bars etc... leading with the weak leg, but maybe more efficient over long rides to master a more perfect balance of strength.

I would say my right foot is my dominant foot, but I am pretty comfortable riding with either foot forward.

I ride downhill with my left foot forward, but it is not my dominate leg.
I've had three knee surgeries and my right let has ended up being a bit stronger.
It helps when forcing the back wheel to the left (slight slide turning to the right)on tight corners. But mildly awkward moving the other way.
