I made this a little while back and has been working great, i found the link and figured i would give it a shot-so i went to home depot and picked up the pvc pipe and fitting's for about $18. luckily it fits both my f150 lightning and f250 because today i started installing the roll bar in my lightning so i don't think it will be used there any more lol. also i ended up spraying it flat black with the 97 cent home depot paint-i figured if it is out in the sun for a while it might protect it.

Nice! thanks for sharing. Funny thing is I never would have thought about that. How did you secure it in the back of the truck or did you just let it sit there

If you look closely in the second picture i have a bungee chord running across it around the center but it really wasn't tight enough so now i use a regular tie down (motorcycle tie down) and also made a small hole on the top of center of each to run a bungee chord to hold each bike in the rack.

Did a search for home made bike racks and found this thread.
Has anyone else made one? I need it for the garage. There are just
too many bikes in there leaning on one wall or another.
