Alright..Ima get this out there first.
I gave some bad turn advise during the ride today...not just once, at least twice and possibly 3 times...Sowwy everyone!!!
I enjoyed todays ride though, it was great. I tell ya what...it seems like our riding groups have been picking up the pace steadily in the past few months..thats a great thing to see, feel and just plain notice the improvement not just in the skills everyone is exhibiting, but the endurance and speed as well.
I'm not one to recite which trails we rode as I just don't pay attention too much to the trail names, so I will leave that to someone else. We dropped down into the trail system real nice like and then upon my first misdirection we did a stream crossing twice...yep..soaking the feet twice pretty near close to the beginning of the ride..it felt good though and before I knew it I didn't even notice it all...was just having too much fun.
Well, I didn't take any pics, but I think JJ The Whale has a lil bit of video and some pics...my bad once again..vewwry sowwy.
Once again Dirt Monger shows up with some tantalizing treats in the form of a cake...sooo good, thanks DM!!!
Kimbas entourage (wife and sis) provided some delectable bagels with an assortment of cream cheese's...thanks go to the Kimba Clan!!!
Thanks for the ride everyone, I had a blast and look forward to the next one.

My appologies for my undue tardiness today. It wasn't my time to charge, I guess. I almost bonked completely on the way back regardless of all the carbloading I did last night this morning and on the trail (thanks to the Sloth for the Espresso Lover 2x caffeine GU). I was afraid I wouldn't even make the hike back. I'll consider taking it slower for a week. SCST shouldn't have been that much of a challenge for me. But thanks for waiting up on me. Comraderie is what sets DTs apart. I'll make up for it on another ride... (it's with the last bit of energy I've left in my hands that I writ

Fun Fun Foot Soaking Fun!!!! No worries DM, I bonked too, I completely underestimated the work-Load today. By the way, I took the wrong fire road on the way out and ended up feeling like I was on the show "Everst Beyond the Limit", Just putting one foot in front of the other in deep mushy sand straight up. LOL HAHAHA, I was hoping you guys couldnt see me accross the valley. More fatigued today than in a while for sure.

Anywhooo - Heres a go at the first HD video post. Its short, from the handheld, in 720p.

I'm glad I didn't fumble in the vid. I seem to have the tendency to mess up whenever a lens is pointed my way...

Wow, that is some crisp clear video. Did you say it has HDMI connection or Component connection? It was pretty light so I'm thinking it was HDMI.
Thanks JJ The Whale!

Actually, it comes with the HD component plugs (just like at home 5 wires) for the tv or fire wire to pc

What a great ride. My legs are mushy this am. Here a few pics from the firebreak descent. I wish I had snapped these pics a few seconds earlier but JJ and RHS smoked it on the last part.

This place must be even more awesome in winter when its green and wetter. I want to master the gearing issues on the ascents.

Great ride guys! I seem to learn something every ride, like stay away from cougars and be carefull who you wave at. My shoes have a new unsavory odor due to the creek crossing x2 but maybe my stinky feet will over power that soon. My legs too were used up, I'm still feeling a little wobbly.
