A big DT turnout yesterday. Lots of fun. Before the ride I met a group doing an epic ride linking LC with the peaks of San Marcos, Elfin and back. Curious how that went.

JJthe whale and I headed out for a bonus lap at 820. I redlined trying to middle ring the fireroad climb. JJ passed me on the way to the top as I tasted blood in my lungs, along with the paint from the water tank they were spraying. JJ is getting scary fast.

We headed down Vista del Mar and met up with DM, QS, Sasquatch, Jimmy Snooka, Jason, DirtyBoo and RHS ( hope I'm not missing anyone). There was a ton of people on the trial yesterday. We had the biggest and baddest crew by far.

Up switchbacks, JJ pinning it. At the top, we split up with some going down Nascar, some down VDM. Jimmy Snooka had a minor spill at the top of Nascar, which he shrugged off no problem. QS hit the jump with style, as did RHS.

We regrouped at the bottom of Nascar, and went up VDM, Jason pinning it this time, with jj close behind. We regrouped at the kiosk and enjoyed the awesomely beautiful day.

We went down switchbacks, with RHS owning the trial. DM also ripped it up.

QS has an odd flat at the bottom. After fixing it, we went down to the cars, whereupon DM pulls out an APPLE PIE. It disppears into our bellies and we leave the area cleaner than when we came, picking up some flyers that were blowing around. We need to be careful not to leave trash there. Flyers maybe aren't such a good idea.

Damn, QS keeps PIE in his ride? Kicking myself for missing this ride...

I had great fun once again...gotta hand Dirt Monger big props for baking a kick-ass apple pie and bringing it for The DT to enjoy!!

Once you go pie you ain't gonna be able to just get by. So, anyone here with some fodd allergies? Dairy, gluten, nuts, shellfish?
Time permitting there may be a treat available after the SCST ride. A start time of 9 am wold make that a whole lot more likely
