TR: Deathmarch on ice skates through the mud

Is how jj described riding his hard tail today. Sloth, jj, mtb gurl, and myself jammed down to LPQ for a leg killing ride. 20 miles up and around fireroads and single track including a climb that made powerlines seem easy. We rode upwards of 2.5 hrs with the classic decent through tunnels. Thanks to everyone who headed out for a great ride and waiting for me at....every climb

Now I'm here at home not moving very much and probably won't be able to walk tomorrow. It was AWESOME!!!! On to the pictures.

Sweet TR FatWhat?!!
It was a fun ride, JJ The Whale put the power to the ground and set the pace for the ride from the git go and he was a relentless, punishing, sadistic, he-man, big ring riding, speed demon, smiling, freaky fast, MOFO!!!!
But seriously, he hauled azz and barely broke a sweat.
I sweated, cried, sweated, felt that wierd electrical acidic feeling in my legs just before cramping comes on, cried a little more. Next thing you know, we're at the cars and had logged in 20 some miles of high speed, quick paced riding!
Thanks JJ The Whale, mtbgurl and FatWhat? for riding today, it was great fun. I needed that fast paced kick azz ride!!!!
I know Ima have the "jimmy legs" tonight!!

Nice TR. Looks like jj needs a nice heavy full suspension bike to give us all a chance to keep up. Wait, that will just make him stronger. Dammnit!

WOW that was a great ride. Thanks everyone for joining me, It was great not to have to rely on the ipod for company. RHS I think the Santa Cruz is getting lonely! you are climbing superbly, and you went scary fast down that fire road, MTB gurl startled me a few times sitting on my wheel on the climbs smiling and providing PRESSURE!! Dont forget the offerings to the trail gods :wink:
