Man what a little gem this place is. When MTB Bill called this "Baby Nobel" he was right.

First bring your climbing legs & lungs. It was a technical climb with all the waterbars & the last part of the fire road to the top takes some out of you. Definitely not for the newbie.

One rider wasn't feeling well today so no Pyles Peak.

The descent is WORTH the climb. It was so fun, with all the waterbars, made for some nice floater jumps lots of bunny hops & such on the way down.

It reminds me of La Costa, packs alot of punch for such a little area. We only did 6 miles, so I was wanting more when we got to the car, Pyles Peak next time for sure.

I will definitely be back soon, as it was so fun.

No pictures bud, I have to try to keep up with Darryl so no time to bring a camera, he's all business, getting ready for Hurkey Creek 24hr race.

In all seriousness I need to start riding with my camera again.

davemw, you should head down south for our Sunday ride. Great place to ride the 6.8.
