For 6 weeks I secretly slipped away before going to work, seeking what I couldn’t get enough of. Teased by beauty,

lured by fast, flowing lines,

and sensuously smooth texture.

I was captivated by hidden complexities.

But I relentlessly persisted, determined to understand this creature of beauty.

Slowly revealing herself to me in solitude, I relished every moment.

But I felt a growing impatience. Could this be it?

I was dissatisfied and was hungry for more.

And so I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I engaged in.

I was wrong. I was foolish. I don't get to play by different rules.

The same boundaries that apply to everyone apply to me.

I recognize I have brought this on myself, and I know above all I am the one who needs to change.

As I move forward, I will continue to receive help. Starting tomorrow, I will leave for more treatment and more therapy.

I do plan to return one day, I just don't know when that day will be.

I ask you to find room in your heart to one day believe in me again.

Yes, I've seen folks fishing several times I was out riding on the canal.
