So Sniff and I hit up Daley for our second ride for the day. We took the usual loop around the south side and cruising back Jack Meadow loop. It felt a little hot when we got there but cooled off very quickly. Not too many horses on the trail but there was a decently sized rattler instead. Things went great as we raced around until on the final slice of trail to take us to the fire road my derailer went into my rim. Sniff wasted no time to turn the Possum into a SS! It kind of worked until I had to do any climbing, then the chain just couldn't handle the slack. Thankfully it was a shorter trip back to the parking lot than I remembered and the Possum survived the last downhill.
