I knew there will be some interest to ride Cuyamaca with my friends but never expected to have 16 riders!
We done this several times but not since last October Poker Ride when it was in the low 50's and we climbed in and out of the clouds, not this time, it was 79 by 8:00 am and it got much warmer through the day.
We did the whole enchilada! With just under 23 miles including the Middle Peak climb and the downhill was a blast with tons of logs across the trail and way overgrown.
A couple of riders have to turn around after the first long climb because it was so hot and it was a good call, they where the smart ones.
I felt pretty good, had some electrolytes with my water, an extra Gatorade, a couple of Gu and an energy bar and a frozen Sniker's bar that was great.
Was hoping to see ld00d and more Treaders but not this time, too good to be true but Amor and myself had the honor to represent.
Ok enough words and lets go to the pictures.....

I really need to change my career and find one that will guarantee all weekends off. I'm always missing out on the good rides!
